We went to Thaliwala Indian Kitchen on my hunt for truly authentic North Indian flavors for dinner — and it’s amazing how perfectly they delivered! Every dish was fresh, authentic, and perfectly seasoned, instantly reminding me of home. We ordered Makki ki Roti with Sarson da Saag, Gobhi Manchurian, Chole Bhature, Paneer Makhani, Veg Momos, Pakoras, Mango Lassi, and ended the meal with my favorite — Masala Chai. Each item had its own unique richness and flavor, crafted with real attention to detail. If you’re craving genuine North Indian taste, Thaliwala is a must-visit. From the freshness of their food to the comforting warmth of their chai, it’s a full experience that satisfies every taste bud. Highly recommended! 👏 Kiran will be there to guide your selection intake

I stopped in here over the weekend as I have been super interested in trying dosa and there is a very limited amount of spots making it. I actually only know of one other place around the Twin Cities which makes it! I ordered the masala dosa, and I also got the kulfi falooda for dessert. The masala dosa was such a fun dish to try! It had a super nice crunchy exterior but it was still a little soft on the inside too. It was the best of both worlds. The potatoes inside were super tasty as well with the various seasonings that were used. The coconut chutney and other sauce were truly amazing and paired so well with the masala dosa. It also came with a bowl of sambar which is a spiced veggie soup. It has more heat than spice to it but the heat was still noticeable. I am not a spicy food person so I am glad it didn’t overwhelm me. The sambar wasn’t really my jam but this is just personal preference. As for the kulfi falooda, it has to be one of the more interesting desserts I have tried all year. The menu says it contains kulfi (indian ice cream), falooda (rice noodles) and rose syrup. There were some other ingredients I picked out like pistachios and date paste I think?! I am not totally sure so I coined it the mystery bowl of deliciousness. There were various flavors and textures going on and I was surprised how much I loved it. Once you get through some the creamyness, you get chunks of ice cream which I liked and the rose water really stood out too. You should definitely try this if you stop in and experience this bowl of flavor for yourself. There is also plenty of parking and the inside of the restaurant was clean and inviting. The older gentleman and the younger gal who were my servers were friendly and did an excellent job. It is always such a good feeling when you receive good customer service and you can tell they care about the food and service here. I traveled over an hour to get here so whether you are near or far, make the trip here some day. It will be worth it!
