Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Gumbo was hot & delicious. blackened catfish is not really blackened but more like blackened sauced. The etouffe and fried crawfish tasted great. My only reason for a 4 is that it’s all served “St. Louis” hot (almost room temperature). Prices were very reasonable.

Rice tastes like minute rice box.. The seafood Alfredo had no taste.. I threw everything away..bland ! Please go back to the drawing board and make some changes so that your business doesnt fail. When you state your the taste of New Orleans! I will point out the corn and crawfish stuff goes extremely well together.

I tried their creamy pasta combo (chicken and shrimp), ordered their version of hush puppies (Shut up Dogs is what they call them) they were ok, not sweet like I've tried at other places. I also tried the alligator tails, first time in general to try that, and it was ok, not sure what they're supposed to taste like, but they were a little chewy. Their new York style cheesecake was worth trying, not super sweet but just right.
