Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We realized we had never been to the Bluebird restaurant on Bluffton Road and our family likes a good breakfast place. When we visited the place was busy but they were able to handle the volume of people that were in the building. It was not a very long wait for either being seated or to receive our food. The food was very good. Our party got a variety of dishes that included a standard two egg breakfast, a waffle with strawberries and chocolate, a breakfast skillet, and an omelette. Everyone enjoyed the food. I can't say the food stood out over other breakfast places like the breakfast club, but it is definitely a place that would be on our list to return for a good hearty breakfast meal. The staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our visit and I would recommend this place.

Had breakfast here last weekend and it was a pretty good way to start the day. The place feels cozy and casual, like a regular neighborhood spot where folks actually know each other. I had the pancakes and eggs, both came out hot and tasted fresh, nothing too fancy but definetly satisfying. Coffee kept getting refilled which I really appriciated, since I sorta run on caffeine. Service was friendly, maybe a tiny bit slow but everyone was nice so I didn’t mind. Overall, I’d say it’s a solid place for a simple, relaxing morning meal.

I placed a pickup order and then had to place a second one 10 minutes later. The first order was great and the person was respectful and polite. The second order I was transfered to the kitchen staff to make sure there was time to place it it was still 30 minutes before close. He agreed but was a bit gruff, which was fair. However, when I came in I could hear him loudly yelling about me and how I must have only wanted one of the orders and just general abuse. I picked up and bought both my orders 20 minutes before they closed, apologized to the staff who waited on me and tipped them, but I won't be coming back. I just discovered this place last week and really had like it but I'm not gonna pay for abuse.
