Dinner time review: Superb, amazing place for vegetarian food! 🌱✨ We ordered The Carrot Top Panini Sandwich, and it was mind-blowing — perfectly toasted, cheesy, and loaded with fresh veggies like zucchini, carrot, pepper, spinach, onion, and more. We loved the pickle and salad that comes with it. Easily a 10/10 ⭐️ My husband ordered the Chicken Hummus Wrap — he liked it, but even he agreed the panini stole the show! We also tried the Greek Salad — very fresh and tasty. Just one suggestion: reduce the spinach a bit and add other variety of veggies more for a better balance. This salad had spinach, chickpea, tomato, onion, purple cabbage, feta cheese, pickle etc I think for me, the Gym Rat Salad would have been a better choice. The best part: every dish had extremely fresh salad — it honestly felt like the veggies were just picked from the farm. So satisfying and wholesome! The total cost was $38 for 3 items, which is absolutely worth it for the quality and freshness. Note: if you pay by credit card, there is an additional $2 fee, and tipping is as per your comfort. The food truck is run by a sweet and friendly couple who are very helpful with ordering suggestions 💛 There are plenty of tables to sit and eat, and they give you a buzzer so you don’t have to wait around. Bonus: there’s a brewery in the same campus 🍺 We tried the Blonde beer — mild, refreshing, and perfect with the food. Great ambience, and you can take the food inside the brewery to enjoy it there. 👉 Perfect place — a must-try if you’re in Carlsbad! We left so happy after this dinner 😊✨ I’ll probably go back again for lunch tomorrow before heading to Albuquerque 🚗💛 —- Lunch - Today’s review as i am unable to add a new one: Visited Carrot Top again today for lunch—after last night’s dinner, we were already in love with their panini sandwiches! I ordered the Carrot Top Panini again, and honestly, it was even better than yesterday. I requested it well toasted, and it came out perfectly crispy, loaded with melty cheese and plenty of fresh veggies—absolute perfection 🤍 My husband tried the California Dream Panini, and it was excellent too. For starters, we ordered chips with green chile queso (asked for extra green chile), and wow—we loved the queso so much! For drinks, I had the “Good for Joints” (pineapple, turmeric, ginger), while my husband went with “Like a Diamond” (kiwi & lemon). Both were super refreshing 🍹 Since it was lunch, we got to sit outside and were lucky to grab some great photos with the colorful chairs—good food, great vibes, and beautiful memories. With a happy tummy, we’re all set to drive to Albuquerque 🚗💫

Love the Carrot Top and the adorable owner. We live in Austin, Tx and the Carrot Top is our favorite place in Carlsbad. We are vegan and she always has creative and delicious options. We had the tofu tacos and the Carrot Top panini. Both were so tasty! The food truck is now at the Nurvis Purvis Brewery and you can eat your food in their air conditioning even if you don’t drink. We got our non-alcoholic drinks from the Carrot Top and they are super refreshing. Definitely a plus on a 101° day!
