Wowowowowwwww I'm surprised this place doesn't have more hype around it. Take advantage of it bc I'm sure once eater, restaurant creviewers and foodie influencers find out it'll be hard to get a reservation! One of the best meals I've had in Seattle and I have a husband in the food industry who is picky AFFFFF. So the fact that he liked it says A LOT. I love how this place is elevated dining in a casual atmosphere. It's kid friendly- they offer kid options not on the menu. I love that they have mocktails- one minor criticism is I hope they can make more drinks that aren't caffeinated. I'm not sure I personally can drink caffeine after 5PM we ordered the seafood croquette, omakase noodles and soft shell crab pasta. The seafood croquette is like a fried clam chowder. I loved the sauce it came with; tasted so good with the salad. The omakase noodles were much better than I expected- wow the Hokkaido scallops are SO good. Lastly the soft shell crab was delicious too- the pasta sauce is more citrusy which I don't mind. I was also pleasantly surprised- the portions were good value for the price. I was afraid a lot of time at these fancier places the portion is super small. Def save room for dessert- the sticky date pudding is so delicious- warm cake with yummy sauce and cream. It was so tasty. We already made reservations to come back next month- and made sure to reserve the beef Wellington!

This place is an absolute gem. All the dishes that we ordered today were delicious. All of them. From the appetizers to the entrees. The portion sizes were also generous. I would most definitely want to come back to try other dishes, including their desserts. Thank you for opening this restaurant. Three things that could be improved (food for thought, in order of most to least important): 1. The restroom is shared with the neighboring resturaunt, Tian Fu. I also really like Tian Fu, but the restroom (at least the men's) is in dire need of cleaning. It doesn't look great in there. 2. I think they could hire more front of house staff (e.g. waiters). The lady serving us was excellent, but it felt like she was overwhelmed with handling everything by herself. 3. For the soft shell tempura pasta, the pasta could be less cooked and closer to al dente (harder). Same for the omakase soba.

Amazing, unique, tasty, no frill and high value. Fine dining level food and dish presentation without the crazy fine dining tax. We ordered 2 appetizers 2 entree and dessert for less than 100 tax included before tips. The entree were more filling than all those fancy places and tastes just as unique and delicious. You can taste all the ingredients without anything over powering anything. We got lemon Karaage, it was so good, the dipping sauce is killer, with real lemon zest sprinkled on top. For entree we got the crab pasta and the aburi salmon bowl. The portion is very generous, very fresh ingredients and tastes amazing. The presentation, creativity and unique tasty profile of the dish is like that of a fancy fine dining restaurant but leaves you filled with the portion and price of a normal restaurant. The salmon portion is crazy, served on top of fried rice which was great comfort and filling food. So down to earth and tasty. The Hojicha Panna Cotta was a perfect finish, it was creamy and silky, not too sweet and the sauce is refreshing and balances the creaminess very well. Light flaky crispy base gives a great texture without being too heavy or doughy. I paid 60 per person for a no frill dining experience with beautiful looking dishes, amazing taste and filling portions. I can think of many other fancy places, where this would easily be more than twice as expensive. The only thing I didn't get is five sets of plates and cutlery to eat with and waiting staff that changes your eating utensils after taking ever bite of my food. Which I am more than happy without. You should come check it out if you want fine dinning food without the fine dining price, most of your check will go into the food itself, not the silverware.
