I was traveling between two rural parts of Florida when, surprisingly, the HappyCow app told me there was a veg-friendly restaurant in Ocala. I'm REALLY glad I took the half hour detour from my drive to check the place out. The menu looked good and the staff was super friendly. I must have arrived during a lunch rush as they were all working quickly to fill the orders. Given how busy it was, I was thrilled that my Buddah Bowl was so nicely put together. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was delicious! If you're staying in the area or just passing through, it's well worth stopping in if you enjoy good vegan food. Places like this are hard to come by down here.

The food was divine! The people that work there are so pleasant, helpful, and were patient with my mother and I while we decided on our orders. I absolutely loved my visit to The Dragonfly Vegetarian Café and will be going again.

I was in Ocala for work and stopped here for lunch. I ordered the Bahn Mi special. I think it was cashew and mushroom pate with pickled veggies, cilantro, cucumbers, and jalapenos on a toasted baguette with a side of kale slaw. That, was a tasty sandwich!!! I'm going back!
