The cutest brunch spot in OC! Once a 1920s gas station, this cafe is full of history while still feeling warm and welcoming. There’s such a strong community vibe and the nostalgic touches, like the original gas pump, make it a fun and unique place to dine. We wanted to sit on the patio with the colorful umbrellas and fire pit tables, but the rainy weather had us dining indoors instead, which was just as cozy with the cute decor. The menu is stacked with breakfast favorites, but we went with the specials and they were all delicious and perfect for sharing. • Chilaquiles with Pulled Pork-so much flavor and satisfying • Crab Cake Benedict: rich, with perfectly cooked eggs • Dubai Chocolate Pancakes: our sweet finish Portions were generous and the service was excellent.

The cafe is more like a restaurant and there was a short wait which was well worth it. Service was absolutely awesome and the food was equally delicious. This place has high ratings for a reason and I would definitely love to come back. Oh by the way, I scarfed down the blueberry pancakes which were really good. I’m looking forward to going there again.

As a New Yorker, I'm picky about diners and The Filling Station Cafe is pretty close to a New York diner. Great food, huge portions, fair prices. The steak was cooked perfectly and the breakfast scramble was loaded. This place is the real deal
