The atmosphere was very pleasant. Great for date night. Some what of a hidden gem it doesn't look like much from the outside but amazing inside. The wait staff was the definition of perfection. I had the mixed grill all of it was amazing but the steak took the spot light. Tender, perfectly cooked and delightful flavor. Finished off with the creme brulee. Definitely enough for two.

The Flame is one of the best kept non-secrets in Sanford. It was a delightful and surprisingly nice casual dining experience. Great for a date night. Food was really good and the steaks were perfect. Service provided by Trishia was simply home-town outstanding. We sat in a booth on the bar-side of the restaurant (which I recommend) and it was definitely a cozy experience (the lights on the dining room did seem too bright for dinner). The Flame is definitely on the repeat dining checklist.
