Every month, I drive 75 minutes to come here for tea with my sister, and it is worth every second of the drive. Milla puts great thought into every aspect of each item on her amazing tea service. She is truly an artist. I've been to many tea houses over the years, and this one is the best value and experience I've found. She has the tastiest fresh scones, the best food in general, and the most creative chef. Service is always great. November's tea service was amazing as usual.

My boyfriend and I booked a reservation for the October Afternoon Tea and were pleasantly surprised with the experience. Let me start by saying the food is incredible! I am a picky eater and was scared about some of the offerings, but even I (with my unrefined pallet) loved everything on the tiers. It’s hard to choose a favorite bite whenever everything was just so unique and well executed. However, I would say the Gouda & Watercress sandwich or the Sweet Potato and Sage Scone were two of the best bites. You can tell that the owner knows a lot about food preparation and choosing flavors/textures that go well together. My boyfriend loved his Afternoon Darjeeling tea and I enjoyed the almond sugar cookie tea. I appreciated that our waitress kept our water glasses filled and offered us a second pot of tea with a new flavor if we wanted (we tried 4 teas in total). My only qualm about this experience was the venue. I hope that one day the Flour Box can expand to their own separate location. I feel as though the strip mall venue undersells the value of the product being sold. The inside was a little barren and mismatched decor wise, which doesn’t ruin the experience but is definitely noticeable if you’re someone who frequents afternoon tea locations. I think the price is more than fair for the service and quality received and I can’t wait to make the journey back to try another tea service. (Speaking of which, I liked that I was able to make a reservation online without calling and that they were able to fit me in same weekend). TLDR: good place, you should come Also, ignore the fact that we ate one of the sandwiches before remembering to take a picture of the tier.

A hidden gem in Kernersville!! Sandwiches, soup and quiche were menu choices. I had the chicken salad and it was OK, but the broccoli salad was very delicious and flavorful! It was quiet as the the restaurant was closing early because it was the owner's birthday. We learned from our amazing server that was a reservations are recommended! Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and the prices were very reasonable for a Sunday brunch. My girlfriend and I were quite impressed and look forward to going back! My girlfriend ordered the Almond sugar cookie hot tea and it was phenomenal! I had a mimosa which was also very delightful. If you're in the area and you have some time definitely call ahead just to make sure they're not closing early and go check this place out, it was really relaxing fun Sunday afternoon reconnection with my girlfriend!
