Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

My daughter and I really enjoyed our breakfast on Black Friday. Tge beignets and that sauce that comes with it was delicious! I would like that sauce bottled up! Their dreamy grits are amazing! I got the biscuit with gravy and 2 chicken tenders. The gravy has a strong sage taste, which I didn't care for. The chicken strips were very good! My daughter got the breakfast burrito and said it was good. The atmosphere and the wonderful service made it a place we will certainly keep on our list to visit!

The food is delicious. The steak was well seasoned and cooked exactly how I asked. My wife's French toast was soft and Sweet. The biscuits are light and fluffy but not dry and come with a special house made apple butter which is very rich in apple flavor. I got my eggs scrambled and they turned out fluffy yet firm so it is easy to cut. The big star is the grits. They call it creamy "dreamy" grits and the dreamy part is not an exaggation. The white cheddar is delicious with the grits. My only complaint is the hot coffee was pretty lukewarm so the whipped cream never properly melted. Still tasted good.

It was a pretty good experience overall. We started with some drinks and the beignets donuts and they were so good! He had the piedmont omelet and he said it was alright, nothing special and I had one of the breakfast plates with a waffle on the side. My only complaint is that the grits were surprisingly cheesy other than that everything was quite alright. I think we ended up spending about $60ish including the tip. Would recommend!!
