Reviewers consistently praise the restaurant's beautiful aesthetic, with dim lighting and a social atmosphere that makes for a pleasant dining experience. The service is also noteworthy, with patient and well-informed servers who frequently check in on tables. Excerpts

The Harrison is a beautiful, vibrant, neighborhood restaurant that offers a diverse menu of American classics. The aesthetic is beautiful, with the dim lighting and social atmosphere! The server was patient and well-informed, letting us know the various wine selections, in addition to the day's specials. He also frequently checked in on the table and on our bread, which were taking longer than usual. However, the wait was worth it! The butter rolls were steaming hot, fresh from the oven. Not only were they toasty and warm, but the butter taste still permeated throughout the bread. The cream is an added bonus, but the bread is still divine without it. For appetizers, we ordered the Spinach Artichoke Dip and Chargrilled Octopus. Both were delicious, although, I do wish the Spinach Artichoke Dip can retain the heat more. It cooled down quite rapidly, making it harder to dip the tortilla chips in. We also ordered the Steak Frites, Seafood Linguine Diavola, and several of the specials. I highly recommend the Steak Frites. Cooked to perfection, the meat was juicy and tender. The au poivre was a perfect sauce that added new flavors that were not overwhelming. The pastas were decent, having a mild seafood and tomato sauce that enhanced the shrimp garnishes. I did not have the opportunity to try their Raw Bar or Sushi Bar, but I look forward to coming back for those.
