Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

A few of our agents over at Keller Williams Realty Central Delaware and I have gotten together at House of Coffi several times over the years. The owner, Kristin, and her entire team provide a welcoming environment that makes it easy to slow down, connect, and have meaningful conversations. The drinks are consistently great and the space is comfortable. Definitely one of our favorite spots to support locally!

Amazing food. I think every entree was cooked to perfection, seasoned well, and there was a beautiful spice to the shrimp and sausage scampi. My daughter had the chicken bruchetta and said it was so flavorful and juicy. 10 out of 10 will be back. Oh! And the staff here is also awesome, welcoming, and fast!

Took us about 20 minutes to find parking, I’m assuming everyone that took the parking in front of the business were the same people sitting inside chatting for a while. 1 out of 3 workers were actually working, the other two were chatting with people the whole time we waited. The prices online do not match prices in-store, it was actually about 3-4 dollars more expensive. We ordered a Breakfast Sandwich and an Everything Bagel with cream cheese, both tasted very cheap and was not worth the price, size, or flavor. Both tasted very bland and the cream cheese had a horrible aftertaste that we paid $2 just to add on the bagel, they barely put any on it. The fridge for bottled and canned drinks had no signage for pricing. A can of soda for $2, a breakfast sandwich for $7 that’s the size of a Popeyes biscuit, and a bagel for $3.50 + $2 for the cream cheese. Pastries didn’t look the best either. This place seems like maybe they do their coffee good but I wouldn’t be going for their breakfast items. Next time we will take the drive to Surf Bagel for cheaper yet extremely good quality food and coffee.
