Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Went here for the first time with my sister and it was so good! We tried to come one other time but the wait for food was too long so this time we came on a Wednesday! We got the Avocado + Preserved Lemon Toast and Roasted Sweet Potato Sandwich to eat, both were amazing!

The food at Hub Cafe is delicious. Locally sourced, and I feel good supporting them. However, they recently changed their setup, and while you won't wait to get a table, their food service is extremely slow. The past couple of times we have gone we have waited well over an hour to finally get our food (and they weren't busy either time) Give it a go if you don't have any plans you need to get to in a timely manner.

The Hub Cafe is one of those farm-table breakfast spots you go to when you actually want to enjoy your morning. Their French toast is hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had—fresh, comforting, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Everything tastes like it came straight from the source, not out of a package, which is such a refreshing change from overly processed breakfast food elsewhere. The coffee is excellent, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and it’s the kind of place where you don’t feel rushed. I’ve only been for breakfast so far, but they also host lunches and events—and if you’re around in the summer, keep an eye out for their music fest. I’ve heard it’s fantastic. Yes, it can get busy on a Saturday morning, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. If you love fresh food, great coffee, and a cozy farm-style vibe, this place is a must-stop.
