Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Pretty nice establishment. Quite a few options with fried green tomatoes which I thought was epic. Had the pimento cheeseburger which had a fried green tomato on it. I had the garlic mashed potatoes as a side. They were good flavor and all but luke warm. Would have been better hot. The burger was good. Waitress was attentive and stayed on top of the beverages. Good hustle and crowd. Convenient location with good parking options.

Another great experience taking my little twin girls out last night. I’ve always had good experiences, both when needing a good night out at the bar with my wife, watching a game or just with the family. Best part about this place is you can get the great local beer selection of a taproom but the food isnt an after-thought. Well above typical barfood and the like. Had the crabcake sandwich on special, light and full of flaky crab (not bready and full of filler) and just the right amount of the remoulade. Kids had the kids chicken and waffles as always, still best kids menu item at any restaurant I’ve been to so far. Been coming here for a few years fairly regularly and will be back again.

Had the Hangover burger. Replaced the mayo with the sauce that comes with the corn fritters. It was cooked medium and tasted great!
