When I lived in Owensboro, this was my go to spot to take visiting family and date nights. Me and my now husband drive from out of state to ear here whenever we can! Happily drive 45 min each way for the best food, service, and atmosphere. Food is top notch, ive had everything from their brunch options, apps (fried pickles are to die for), entrees (salmon risotto is my go to, but I can attest the steaks and chicken options are also high quality.) The menu is on what I believe to be a seasonal rotation with a few items that are staples (like their meatloaf!). Ive never been disappointed. Servers are always kind and knowledgeable. Atmosphere on the top levels/main level are nice and put together. The basement is a cozy bar area full of art and a prestigious alcohol selection. (I believe they won an award for their bourbon/whiskey selections/tastings.) No dress code, I wear nice jeans and a cute top, but you can dress up. Reservations not required but I do recommend them! On date nights we can get an app, two entrees - which comes with soup/salad/sweet potato biscuits- and all well under $100.
