This is my go to vegan soul food spot in Philly. I gave 4 stars cuz I find the food is better when they aren’t busy or it isn’t late. I have eaten from here many times. I normally get the jerk chickpeas, okra and cabbage, but this time I got the bbq chicken, sweet potatoes and cabbage. It was tasty. The bbq sauce wasn’t too sweet or tangy which was good. I also got this white bean soup that was DELICIOUS! It was my first time having it and the owner said it was a crowd favorite and I can see why. For dessert I had the apple crumb bar and it was good per usual.

The best vegan soul food in Philly. I've seen this place grow over the years, but one thing has always been consistent; the amazing food and staff. Don't forget to check out the courtyard out back, and definitely don't miss the dessert case!
