Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We have been here before for breakfast and it was jam packed that time and the staff worked so very well even them working in overdrive mode. This time we showed up at 11:00 and it was not packed but by the time we left it was getting pretty busy. The staff were still great and good conversationalist and I appreciate that. They make you feel like family here. The portions were large and my sweetie took home a little half of it as there was too much for her to eat.

We go often specifically for the beignets- they are amazing! The rest of the breakfast food is average for a small breakfast place (never been for lunch), and they have many fun mimosa flavors. The waitresses have always been kind and polite. This is not a place to sit and loiter - they are very busy and fill up quickly, so service is quick and you get your bill efficiently. Lovely outdoor seating when the weather is nice!

When we arrived the restaurant was busy. We were told it would be 20 to 30 minutes. Which was fine. Ended up being 40. Mind you they close at 2:30. We were seated at 11:50. We ordered an appetizer, entree and dessert. Plus ordered a dessert to go. We finished our meal at 1:00. As soon as we put our last bite in our mouths are plates were cleared. Finishing our coffee a second waitress came to out table and started picking up the rest of our table, straightening salt and pepper etc. My friend looked at her and said are you wanting us to leave or something? She looked at her and said, "Well, that is how we make our money" Food was great, didn't mind the wait, but her comment was uncalled for.
