We enjoyed the little bites and appetizers: wrapped dates, saganaki, and oysters Rockefeller. The oysters are not a traditional recipe, but we're still tasty. I had the rigatoni with vodka sauce. It was very rich and garlicy. I didn't love it, but ok after all those appetizers. My other two family members shared the 4 cheese flatbread. Again, it was good, but not great. It was quite loud in there so maybe the acoustics of the room need to be adjusted.

Found this restaurant on Open Table, 5 stars with 970+ reviews. We had to try it and so glad we did. Phoenix Kitchen has fabulous cocktails, great food and the staff is very attentive. I can see why it's rated highly. The restaurant has a U-shaped bar when you walk in and a large dining area as well as outdoor dining. Plenty of parking surround the restaurant. Our server was Suzanne, who is friendly, attentive and provided very good service. Actually, all the staff was on top of everything from bringing the dishes straight from the kitchen while they're hot and removing empty plates. The manager Linda came by to check on us., too. All the staff works together. The menu has a great variety and there are nightly specials as well. My husband and I started out with cocktails, he had a smoky old-fashioned and I had a lavender lemondrop. Both were amazing. We shared the oysters Rockefeller with creamed spinach, nduja, breadcrumbs and lemon. I could've ordered six more, so good. We then shared the salad on the specials menu which was a peach salad - grilled peaches, blueberries, arugula, feta and balsamic vinaigrette. It came with toasted pecans but we had those on the side because of me. The salad was sweet and salty and delicious. Hubby had prime rib with double baked potato and roasted brussels sprouts. I have to say this was the winning entrée of the night. The prime rib was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had the best wood grilled smoky flavor. Not that my entrée wasn't good, it just was not my type of fish and lacked flavor. I had the wood fire grilled cobia with celery root puree and a grilled squash medley. Cobia is a meatier fish like mahi-mahi or swordfish, and I prefer a more tender flaky fish like seabass or halibut. After our meal, we received complimentary glasses of their housemade limoncello. Nice touch! It was the best limoncello. We ended our meal with sharing the banana cream pie. No explanation needed as it was creamy deliciousness. Phoenix Kitchen is a gem and I'm looking forward to going back again. It's very busy so I suggest making reservations. Great find! We will definitely be back
