Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We have been coming here a long time, and it is always amazing!! Everything on the menu is fantastic, we have tried most everything. The service is always perfect. The staff are very prompt, professional, and welcoming. We love coming here for an upscale dining experience like no other. 💓 The food pictured is the butchers board, raw oysters, chicken liver mousse, shrimp and grits, mussels, and hanger steak.

We had a reservation and were promptly seated, we were celebrating our anniversary and appreciated the card & drinks on the house. Our server, Caroline, was wonderful. We tried the pickle jar and cornbread appetizers. We had a salad and the hanger steak which were both delicious. The Jefferson airplane drink was also a hit. Yes, the restaurant is loud, but overall a cozy atmosphere. The prices were reasonable and we were happy to try a new spot on our weekend trip to Roanoke.

This place was fantastic! My wife and I got the cornbread, the ribs, the hangar steak, and the halibut. Every menu item was delicious - and unique. Our waitress, Alexia, was knowledgeable, welcoming, and attentive as well. We will be coming back!
