I went to the root cafe to listen to jazz. The Eli Leder Trio was there and they were wonderful! While there, I enjoyed a vanilla latte and an almond cookie. Both tasted delicious! The latte was even served in a real ceramic cup, since I was staying.

Their matcha is like $5 if not more for a regular size, and it is the worst I have ever had. Not sure if they use low grade matcha powder or what kind of milk was in it (I asked for whole) but I've drank a lot of matcha from many different places and this has to have been one of the worst ones I had.
