Stepping into The Spice Palette is never anything short of spectacular. From the initial greeting to the food hitting your table, the courteous and welcoming staff are quick to ensure that you have a pleasant experience. I have been here multiple times, but twice just before closing (once a half hour before the end of lunch and another time a half hour before closing at the end of the day). Neither time was I discouraged from sitting down for a meal. My food wasn't rushed, and it came out just as perfect as any other time. While I could have managed my time better and gotten there earlier, I never felt like I was a burden for coming in so close to the kitchen closing. The staff were just as pleasant as ever! For those who are new to Indian cuisine or have difficulty with spice, the staff are always more than willing to help you choose the right meal to suit your taste. I've brought a few people here for their first taste of Indian and they all decided they wanted to return after the first few bites! No need to dive right into bold, new flavors (unless you want to). There are great introductory dishes to try! As far as the food is concerned, I haven't had a meal leave the kitchen (or even seen one for that matter) that wasn't presented with care. The quality control in the kitchen shows a passion for creating flavorful and unforgettable dishes. If you're unsure of something, be sure to ask because it may be possible to adjust it to your preferences (especially where heat level is concerned). My last visit had me order the Madras Chicken and a side of honey ginger naan. Previously I've ordered the tandoori chicken, butter chicken, and Malabar prawns (no longer on the menu). Each one of these dishes was a great choice. The only regrets I've had so far was when a platter of sizzling tandoori meats passed by on the way to a table that wasn't my own. Definitely consider any of the tandoor dishes if you're just beginning to explore the menu! Overall, this is a gem on the CT shoreline. It's fair priced, delicious, and approachable for just about anyone. I always find myself planning my next visit here, however I'll try to be there more than a half hour before closing next time!

Best indian food I've ever had, a little on the pricier side but really worth it. Highly highly recommend. I had a spinach curry with paratha and rice on the side. It was genuinely one of the best foods I've ever had. Service was a bit rushed but I believe it's cause it was late at night.
