Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I've ordered delivery from here a few times on UberEats. I absolutely HAVE to get around to visiting the actual restaurant. The food is amazing. As a lifelong vegan from a long line of chefs, most of the time when I eat out at vegan-only restaurants I come in with high expectations and then find myself disappointed and thinking that I could have done a better job of making the dish on my own. But not so with this spot. So far my favorites are the fettuccine alfredo with the shaved brussels sprouts on top and the vegan jerk steak tips. Both are to die for, so unique and full of flavor. The garlic bread is also a delicious addition to any meal. I tried the vegan crab cakes once and was a bit disappointed. They weren't bad but the texture wasn't what I was expecting and felt a bit lacking in substance...also I was hoping for more of a mock-fishy taste, however the sauce on top was pretty good. Maybe the crab fries are better, from the other reviews I have read they seem like a hit. After my first time ordering I have stuck to my tried and true favorites, but I definitely would like to try more items especially once I have a chance to experience the actual restaurant and full menu. So far, from all of the places I have eaten in the greater Cleveland area that either have vegan options or a fully veg menu, the only other restaurants that can stand up to The Vegan Club are Fat Cats and Earth Bistro Cafe.

Such an amazing find. Getting to the restaurant is a bit confusing, but the staff was great at helping out! Went there with a group who is not vegan, and almost everyone was more than happy with their mea. I got the fried green tomato dish (Green Envy) which was perfect. So happy with everything I tried

I recently visited Vegan Club in Cleveland, hoping to relive some of the great experiences I’ve had in the past. Unfortunately, the place was surprisingly empty, which already set a bit of an odd tone for the evening. The service left much to be desired—slow and somewhat indifferent, which was disappointing given how lively the place used to feel. As for the food, it wasn’t as impressive as it once was. The flavors I had come to love seemed to be missing something this time around. The dishes felt lackluster, and the overall quality just wasn’t what it used to be. And one piece of advice: if you don’t like something, pray your taste buds adjust because they won’t compensate or offer much in the way of solutions. Despite the experience, I’m still giving it 4 stars out of respect for the previous great times I’ve had here, and because I know they can do better. Hopefully, they find their spark again soon!
