Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This place was awesome I took my wife here for Valentine's we both loved what we got and was very impressed with the menu and the prices. Our waitress was awesome along with her helping robot. I would definitely be returning to this place along with my wife this may become favorite spot.

Our first visit to Tian Fu was a very pleasant if unexpected pleasure. My mother went for Chinese food, Spicy Mango Chicken, and I got sushi rolls with raw salmon, yellowtail and tuna and a great miso soup. Green tea in an atmospheric pot finished off the proceedings. In our view, the Japanese food was preferable to the Chinese. The mango chicken was a bit too oil and way too sweet. The sushi and miso soup, on the other hand, were excellent, almost like being back in Japan again. The service was friendly if a bit clumsy despite the robotic table server. Prices were surprisingly reasonable. Most impressive was how they took a former Bob Evans, kept the old furnishings and layout while transforming the decor into a mostly Chinese, slightly Japanese atmosphere. You could see traces of the old "down on the farm" restaurant and yet everything harmonized with the Asian theme. Pro Tip Thanks to construction on Washington Street, finding the entrance is a bit of a challenge. Turn south onto Old Trail Road and you will find the entrance to the parking lot (unmarked) on your left. The food makes it well worth the search.

We came for the lunch special. It’s a decent deal. You get a spring roll, crab rangoon, soup, fried rice and your entree of choice. The crab rangoon was old and didn’t taste very good. We both got the sweet and sour chicken which was ok. I did appreciate that it came white vegetable as some other places it does not. The restaurant had a robot server and that was a cool experience. Overall the food was just ok. The sweet and sour soup was good.
