This place is a true hidden gem. It is tiny inside, maybe 10 tables. But don’t let it deceive you. The owner, staff, and food is absolutely top notch. The portions are huge (shareable size) and the flavors are amazing. We got the hash, lobster bomb, French toast, and the pancake because it all sounded to good to pass. I highly recommend this place to any and everyone. I promise you will go home with a happy full belly.

There's an excellent reason this tiny gem of a restaurant is featured in 100 Things to do in Tacoma Before You Die!! Absolutely incredible, locally-sourced food, with enormous portions served in an eclectic, homey atmosphere. Tibbett's is famous for their brunch Lobster Bomb, but we chose the mushroom omelet and salted caramel banana pancake - both were delicious! The chef comes out to speak to each guest, too, making you feel like family. Seating is by reservation only, so call ahead. Highly recommended!

If you like quirky finds, little hole in the walls, pleasant surprises, then this is it. The food is wonderful! Farm to table and you can taste the difference. Chef comes out to say hello and will tell you his story if you ask. The service is on point and friendly. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Quiche and was delightfully surprised. My husband ordered the Hash It Out, and really enjoyed it. Portions are big and we had some to take home.
