Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

The Food: Tiny’s is comfort food central and the heartbeat of Payson dining. Everything about it just works. The flavors, the cozy atmosphere, and that unmistakable hometown feel. We try to order something new each time we visit (really, we do), but it’s hard to stray from our go-tos: the Mickey Mouse pancakes for the kids, the country fried steak, eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, French toast, and those incredible chicken sandwiches. And the coffee? Let’s just say it might secretly be Folgers, but whatever it is, it’s magical. Smooth, silky, and so good you don’t even need cream or sugar. You could drink a whole pot and still want another cup. The Experience: The service here perfectly matches the Payson pace. Unhurried, friendly, and authentic. If you’re coming from the city expecting lightning-fast service and a high-energy vibe, take a breath. These are hard-working locals who take pride in what they do, and they’ll take great care of you. Just be patient and enjoy the experience. We come here every single time we’re in Payson so it’s become a family tradition. The atmosphere is nostalgic and genuine, the food always hits the spot, and Rachel (our favorite server) is an absolute gem. She’s attentive, kind, and makes everyone feel like they’re part of the Tiny’s family. Pro Tip: Don’t leave without grabbing a slice of pie, or two, to go. It’s non-negotiable. Final Word: Tiny’s isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a Payson ritual. The food comforts, the coffee revives, and the people remind you what good hospitality feels like. We’ll keep coming back as long as they’ll have us. #PaysonEats #SmallTownCharm #TinysFamilyKitchen #DinerVibes #ComfortFoodGoals #WorthTheDrive #PieToGo #LocalFavorite

Home cooking at its finest! Large portions include salad, soup, entree, choice of potatoes, AND dessert! For under $15, I had homemade split pea with ham soup, garden salad with choice of ALL homemade dressings, a large hefty portion of steamed lemon pepper cod served with homemade mashed potatoes and gravy and fresh corn. Dessert included choice of again all homemade: warm bread pudding, rice pudding or gelatin. My spouse had a "petite" sirloin that looked about half a pound perfectly grilled to his order. Nearly everything on the menu is homemade including a showcase of fresh pies and rolls the size of a platter! Cathy, our kind and courteous server, remembered us from our first visit last fall and treated us like family. We highly recommend this place for good old-fashioned home cooking (including liver and onions), warm and friendly atmosphere, and portions guaranteed to satisfy.

My wife's new favorite place. I've gotten take out from here before, club sandwich, which was pretty good. We ate in a few months ago and I'm surprised I didn't review it then. We came back recently and we're blown away by the food. The atmosphere is nice. Clean with kitchen/cooking type meme posters around. We both ordered chicken fried steak dinner. Full on four course meal. Soup. Salad. Dinner plate with potato and vegetables. And a dessert in the price. Can't pass it up and the price incredibly reasonable. I also ordered the butterflied shrimp. The meal was amazing and not too bad on the wallet. Tasted so good wife wanted to go back the next night but we were already on the way out if town. But we will definitely go back.
