Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We had such a great experience at Toast! and would definitely go back. From the moment we walked in, the place felt calm, cozy, and welcoming. The atmosphere was really relaxing, and we loved that they had artwork from local artists for sale on the walls—it gave the restaurant a cool, personal touch. Everything we ordered was delicious. The avocado toast was fresh and filling, served with a spring mix salad and a balsamic vinaigrette that tied it all together nicely. One of our favorites was the “Eggs Meeting Street.” It came with fried green tomatoes, a fried crab cake, and breakfast potatoes, and it was packed with flavor and very satisfying. We also tried the beignets, which were light, fluffy, and a perfect treat to share. The “Big Biscuit” definitely deserves its name—it is HUGE. This is absolutely meant to be shared with at least two people. Paired with the side of sausage gravy, it was rich, comforting, and worth ordering. We also had a mimosa, which was refreshing and a great addition to brunch. The service was friendly and quick, and everything came out fast without feeling rushed. Overall, Toast! had great food, a comfortable atmosphere, and awesome service. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, enjoyable brunch spot. 5 stars across the board!

Our first time yesterday to dine at the restaurant. We sat at the bar because that was the only available seats for 2. The waitress was nice but we thought it was weird when the first thing she asked was if we were doing separate checks. We ordered drinks and ordered a classic breakfast and toast with a side of French toast and he ordered the hash brown breakfast with biscuit. The food took a while to come out. So we had time to see what was going on in front of us at the bar. We saw one waitress handle the fruit to garnish a drink with no gloves on yuk. The other waitress was dripping juice into the ice maker. Once our food finally came out it was cold. Instead of the waitress having the syrup and butter at the table before our food came out we had to wait another couple of minutes. still no butter after asking twice. I mean if you’re not going to have the toast already buttered at least put a couple on the plate. The biscuit was huge and should have had jam or honey packets brought to the table for options. Overall the food was meh and overpriced.

A hidden gem for breakfast lovers. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, with sunlight spilling across neatly set tables and soft chatter in the air. What truly set this visit apart was the service. Our waiter was outstanding—friendly, approachable, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Joey offered helpful recommendations, explained ingredient sources with pride, and checked in at just the right moments to ensure we had everything we needed. His warmth made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a breakfast spot that excels in both food and hospitality, this is it. Reliable, delicious, and staffed by people who genuinely care I highly recommend for a fantastic start to your day.
