Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Italian-Mexican fusion in EG. Location: In a quiet sleepy part of EG is a shopping center with a restaurant that bears the name Todo Un Poco. To be honest this place can be easy to miss and from the outside it is difficult to see the interior but don’t let that fool you. One annoying nitpick is that there seemed to be a couple gnats or fruit flies around us. Vibe: This place is quite a unique vibe and walking into the restaurant was like walking into a different part of town. The restaurant uses thick blackout curtains and once you are inside you feel like you are in a different environment. The restaurant is low light with little lights at each table and large murals across all the walls. The building is quite big but the restaurant seems to just a part of the business. Service: our server was awesome. Attentive, friendly and always quick to make sure our waters were filled and checking on us. Food: This is where we had some issues. I really like the fusion idea but something like this is hard to pull off. To be honest the carnitas were not my favorite lacking the flavor and drenched in what seemed like oil. The deviled eggs were not really deviled eggs but hard boiled with carnitas and various accoutrement but the pickled onions while great made the dish extremely wet. Similarly the dishes we ordered the Cheese Ravoli with Carnitas and the pasta Jalisco had many clashing elements. The food was decent but there seemed to be a lack of flavor which was hard to place. Highlights include our cocktails which were very well made and the delicious dessert. We had a Fried plantains with banana bread and ice cream. This was quite a delicious dish and really ended the night positively. This place left me with some question marks and made me wonder if this concepts really works. So issues with cleanliness is something that is in the back of my mind. Likely will give this place another try.

Creative and exciting menu options! The food was fantastic and the service even better. Kindness, consideration and a dedication to the dining experience should be an industry standard. This wonderfully colorful bistro could give lessons on the subject.

I ordered ‘La Banderas Plate’ (enchiladas) with chicken and it was FULL of bones and cartilage… a wild amount of it. It was utterly unappetizing and destroyed the entire meal. What. On. Earth. That was actually a horrible eating experience. The amount in the picture is a quarter of what was in my food. Kind of in shock.
