We had the best experience at our local Mexican restaurant! We always try something new and have never been disappointed! Do yourself a favor next time you're anywhere near Ft Monroe, Buckroe Beach, Phoebus, or passing through the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel HRBT. Stop here and enjoy! It's just off the last exit before and after the HRBT. An old Hardee's building turned into an authentic Mexican grill. The food is flavorful and aromatic. We love the table guacamole. My husband and I agreed, it was the best we ever had anywhere.... and we've had a LOT of table guacamole 🥑🪅 There's a nice patio with plenty of air flow just off the main dining room. You aren't able to enter from the patio but a short walk around the building places in the heart of the quaint space.

The only Mexican restaurant my family and I will eat in Hampton roads! Hands down! Since this establishment has been open, the flavors and atmosphere are always an unforgettable experience. The people are AMAZING! We have always been impressed with every aspect, from the Fresh salsa, to the always ice cold beer on tap! You are sure to have a wonderful time at Tres Compadres! ; )
