First time having doubles and they were terrific. I got the Goat Roti and my girl got the Beef Stew Roti. I liked the Goat Roti a lot, not too many bones and good flavor. My girl didn’t like her beef stew roti, she said tasted too much cinnamon. Personally, I liked her beef stew. My only critique is In both dishes I’d say they could’ve been more saucy, parts of it were a bit dry. Thank you and will be back to try more dishes.

When I first moved to Tampa, I was on the hunt for good doubles, and let me tell you, the search ended at Trini Spice. Hands down the best doubles in the Tampa Bay area. The bara is soft, the channa perfectly seasoned, and the pepper sauce hott! It took me right back home. But as incredible as the food is, it’s nothing compared to the energy of the owner, Trish. Her warmth, her vibe, her welcoming spirit, it truly captures the essence of our Caribbean people. From the moment you walk in, you feel like family. Trini Spice isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a home away from home. If you’re craving authentic Trinidadian flavors and genuine island hospitality, this is the spot. 🇹🇹✨

I came here after seeing this restaurant on instagram. I would like to say the curry chicken was wayyy to salted for me but the curry shrimp was def a hittttttttt. The Roti didn’t seem cooked fresh. Wasn’t as flaky I know Fresh Roti. So tht was a major disappointment. Also I paid 32.00 for my order which came with small side of curry chicken a small portion of curry shrimp with potatoes and Roti. The prices are kinda steep so keep tht in mind. Food portion sizes are small. $9.00 for a side of curry chicken with no potatoes in the curry. The customer service was great but the prices of the food was not affordable at all especially for a Trini Spot. Thanks
