Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

The best experience hands down from a restaurant and I’m so glad it was from a black owned business! We traveled all the way from North Carolina to eat here and have no regrets. The service and the food was exceptional!!! The cashier was very friendly, patient, and personable. The food was well seasoned, not overpowering, and all the meats were tender and yes, we tried all of them and even took some home. We will be stopping here every time we travel through Georgia. Thank you TrucKings BBQ!

Let me highly recommend TrucKINGS BBQ spot! Every single time I've ordered, the food has been consistently tasty and delicious. I usually order the Leg Quarter plate and the chicken thighs and legs are big, hearty, and incredibly flavorful. You can tell they take their time with the seasoning and smoking process. The mac and cheese is pure comfort food: hot, gooey, and cheesy in all the right ways...and the fried wings and fries are always delivered hot, fresh, and perfectly juicy. I absolutely love the seafood salad, even if it's just a tad too spicy for my personal taste. Only open four days a week -- so make sure you get there on a day they are open!

Small walk in restaurant with a few seats to wait for your order. Dine in is not available. The food is decent. I went on a Saturday evening, and they were out of the majority of the sides. I ordered a pork chop & fries, and a rib tip dinner with potato salad & yams plus a watermelon lemonade which came up to around $45.
