Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Went to Tuckerbox on a busy Saturday night. The food was good, very fresh and you can tell it’s homemade. Service was attentive enough considering how busy it was. My only real complaint is the price to portion ratio, as the prices are a little high for the given portions…. But, the owner was very nice and we left satisfied, would definitely come back if we lived in the area.

Huge respect to the owners of this lovely Turkish restaurant. We were visiting this town and found out about this place and the next cafe place. We came here for breakfast/brunch and seated quickly to a booth. We ordered Menemen with added Sucuk and turkish white cheese (TOP CHOICE). It was one of the best we ate on the trip especially the succulent Sucuks. We also tried sour cherry turkish jam which was good. We also tried the Sigara Boregi (4 pieces only), and it had little fillings than I expected but good flavor. We also ordered cappuccino and turkish tea which were great! The place has a nice Turkish decor and friendly staff. Overall, this place is worth a try especially for a breakfast/brunch.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and beautiful decor, and the hosts were kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations, which was disappointing since we were really excited for a Turkish lunch. The portions were quite small (for example, four pieces of grape leaves for $11.99 and two paçanga böreği for $9.99), and the paçanga böreği barely had any pastırma inside. Overall, the food quality felt below average compared to authentic Turkish standards. I hope they consider bringing in a chef who’s more familiar with traditional Turkish cuisine, because the place itself has great potential.
