🍽️ Tuscarora Mill Restaurant 📍 203 Harrison St SE, Leesburg, VA 20175 🕘 Lunch This review reflects my personal experience as both a customer and a chef. Overall Impression This was my first visit to Tuscarora Mill, located in the heart of historic Leesburg. The restaurant was quite busy when I arrived, yet from the very beginning the service was attentive, efficient, and well-coordinated. Highlights & Observations Service: Exceptional. From the moment our server presented the menu and clearly explained the evening specials, everything flowed seamlessly. Timing between courses was precise, and each dish arrived beautifully prepared. If I remember correctly, his name was Ryan—10/10 service. Evening Specials Enjoyed: • Tuna Tartare • Corn Chowder with Bacon and Potato Hay • Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Skewers with Green Soba Noodle Salad, Cucumber, Red Onion, Daikon Slaw & Sesame Soy Vinaigrette • Grilled Flank Steak with Bourbon Molasses Glaze, Whipped Potatoes, Sautéed French Beans, Corn & Sweet Onions Each dish exceeded expectations. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, execution was impeccable, and portions were generous without compromising presentation. The quality and consistency across the board were evident—something I deeply appreciate. Final Thoughts I highly recommend this restaurant. The timing, food quality, presentation, ambiance, and service all came together to create an outstanding dining experience. I would return without hesitation to explore more of the menu. Taste & Quality Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10

I went today for a Galentine’s lunch, and it was such a great experience. Parking was easy and accessible, and the restaurant is tucked into the cutest little shopping center. I’d never been there before, so this was my first visit. When we arrived for our 12pm reservation, we were seated right away, even though our full party hadn’t arrived yet. which was really nice. We were able to grab a drink while we waited. The ambience is adorable and quiet, so you can actually hold a conversation. The seating was comfortable, too. We did the Sunday brunch buffet option and everything was super good definitely good quality food. The only thing I would’ve loved is some sort of crackers with the charcuterie options (unless I missed it) and it’s so minor but honestly, that was my only note. Everything across the board was delicious. Our waiter was also fantastic: super attentive, kept our water refilled, refreshed our drinks, made sure we had everything we needed, and gave good drink recommendations. I had a mimosa and it was really well-proportioned and super tasty. I’d definitely recommend it and I would absolutely return.

We absolutely loved our dinner there last night, as the food, service, and atmosphere. For the appetizers, we shared the Fried Green Tomatoes which were really good, and the pork belly which was my favorite dish there! Our server Kristen was really good as she gave us great insights on what dishes to get. For our main courses, I had the beef tip with scallops, which was good, my wife loved our duck, and my friend truly enjoyed his 16 ounce ribeye. Overall, this was an outstanding dinning experience. I also enjoyed my creme brulé and my wife loved her bread pudding. Wine was really good, and the bread very soft. We'll definitely really go back there one day.
