Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

There used to be a Twisted Root in my town and it closed a few years back. Imagine my surprise when I was headed to NRH for a hockey game and saw there was one close by! The food was as phenomenal as I remembered it to be (I ordered their veggie burger and my partner ordered their burger of the month; we shared their green chile queso fries) and they're made-in-house pickles are always the highlight of my visits. Cannot recommend this place enough!! Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the area.

A great stop for a good burger and great conversation! The Western Burger tasted incredible which was definitely unexpected with the combination of onion rings and jalapeños, but dang…what a perfect blend of ingredients! Don’t forget to stop by the pickle bar. Maybe someday I’ll brave the atomic pickle. Kudos to this location of Twisted Root and all the staff who work here!

The quality of the food has gone down compared to previous visits. The fries were burnt, and when we asked to replace them, the cashier seemed upset. On top of that, the bathrooms were very dirty, which leaves a poor impression of the brand. I think improving food preparation, customer service, and cleanliness would make the experience much better.
