Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Such a friendly place to enjoy good food! Everything was so delicious and fresh! I’ll definitely come back

My partner and I decided to check out this new little spot near our neighborhood and were absolutely blown away by how amazing everything was. I ordered the stir fry vermicelli noodles while my partner ordered the fried rice, both with the UBowl sauce. Since we were dining in, we got to enjoy some DELICIOUS complimentary hot sour soup while we waited for our food. It was perfectly balanced and flavorful. Honestly that soup alone would be enough to make us repeat customers! We both agreed it was the best hot sour soup we have ever had! Our food came out piping hot and we dug right in! It was incredible and SO fresh. The nice lady who took our order had said the ubowl house sauce was like a less sweet teriyaki and she was right on the money. The veggies were perfectly cooked and had a good little crunch to them. The portions were generous and with a little self control (it was so good we definitely could have kept going even though we were full), we both ended up taking half of our dishes home. The ambience was cozy and I appreciated the warm lighting in the dining area! What really speaks to how amazing this place is, is how many conversations we heard from other diners about how great their food was. Folks were chatting to people at other tables and everyone was raving about their meals! I had eyed a steaming bowl of soup noodles as they came out, and I heard the girl who ordered them tell some other curious patrons that her meal was a 10/10. I feel confident that this is the type of place where you could order anything and be happy with what you get. It's also the kind of place you could be a regular at and never get tired of it. The possibilities are endless with such a wide variety of vegetables and proteins! We felt the prices were extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food! They have a little sign that very clearly states their credit card fee policy and we didn't mind the little extra percentage for using ours! We love supporting small businesses, and know that those processing fees add up! Overall we are stoked to have U Bowl in our little neck of the woods and feel SO lucky to live so close to it! It's a mom and pop kind of place where you feel instantly at home! We are already talking about visiting again this week! PS: my partner told me to tell yall to definitely try the peanuts in your fried rice! He had ordered them on a whim and now he's obsessed! Next time I'll try to snap some pictures before we dig in!

I love this place! It was incredibly affordable and the bowls you can create are DELICIOUS! I think it’s an up and coming place in Winston Salem, since they are new. The staff are kind and the food was quality :) Dine in customers also get free egg drop soup, which was delicious. I will definitely come back here again.
