I don’t normally make things five stars but this place deserves it. Urban Olive absolutely blew us away. It’s tucked inside a really cool food hall, but even with all the tempting options around, this place still stands out. The energy is welcoming from the minute you walk up. The staff is friendly, patient, and genuinely happy to help. Alex took our order and was incredibly kind and helpful, and the owners themselves were just as sweet and attentive. You can tell they care about their food and the people eating it. Our group of five all ordered different things, and every single person loved their meal. One friend even said it was the best Mediterranean food he’s ever had, and he’s not dramatic, so that says something. I built my own bowl with rice, salad, grilled chicken, and their spicy green sauce, and I’m still thinking about it. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and carefully made. The chicken was juicy, the greens were crisp, and that sauce… honestly addictive in the best way. We were all already talking about what we’d order next time before we even left. If you love Mediterranean food or just want something fresh and delicious, this spot is a must-visit. Friendly staff, great owners, amazing food, and a fun atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back.

Urban Olive is hands-down the best restaurant in downtown Raleigh right now. The food is incredibly fresh and authentic, the prices are actually reasonable for the quality you get, and the customer service makes you feel like family. I’ve already decided I’m going to be a steady customer here. Do yourself a favor and try it you won’t regret it!

They are the kindest people in the world, especially to someone who can't always make up her mind, and their food is insanely good! This is the second time that we have eaten here and everything that we have ordered for the family has been amazing. They make crazy great salads and their garlic dip, hummus, and tzatziki are to die for. We did shawarma and mixed kabobs today and they are super good. This was also the first time I tried the pesto orzo and... Yum! We have been waiting for a great and affordable Greek place to come here and I'm glad it finally happened. They were definitely missing this at Transfer!
