Vale Healthy Kitchen

I just got played in my face after supporting vale for like 5 years. I ordered 2 Acai/Mango bowls with 3 toppings: strawberries, bananas, and honey. FIRST, they didn’t put ANY acai in the bowls. I went back in nicely and asked if they could put some in an extra bowl and they rolled their eyes and filled a small bowl not even halfway with acai. Whatever. SECOND, the two bowls i ordered received 3 slices of banana and 3 slices of strawberry, therefore they were so lazy they cut ONE strawberry and not even ONE banana ?? THIRD, the bowls I got with only mango were not even packed down and filled less than half way. Even after the toppings and granola they didn’t even touch the lid. I just paid 25 dollars BECAUSE I TIPPED THEM TO DO THEIR JOB THAT THEY DIDN’T DO, got ripped off, and then had to go back in to receive attitude over only one of their issues. AND I WAS NICE and didn’t even mention the 3 pieces of fruit on top. i have pictures to show the shitty bowls versus how they’ve looked before. the difference is INSANE. i expect a full refund or a coupon for 2 more bowls that are filled PROPERLY.

I had a great experience here. The bowls are fresh and flavorful, and the vegan bowl in particular was well seasoned and satisfying. The coffee was smooth and enjoyable, and the brownies and cookies were excellent rich, soft, and a perfect way to finish the meal. Overall, a welcoming spot with quality food and nice attention to detail.

I ordered the BYO small bowl for takeout. Even though it was a small size, it was packed full. It comes with one base, one protein, one vegetable, one booster, and one sauce. I got sweet potato noodles, roasted broccoli, Mediterranean chicken thighs, corn salsa, and curry honey mustard sauce. The chicken looked a bit dry in the kitchen but when I actually ate it, it was soft and a little bland. The chicken was room temperature. The broccoli and sweet potato noodles were warm and cooked well. The curry honey mustard sauce was interesting and I'd get it again. Food prep could have been cleaner, and there were only two workers when I visited at night. Parking was easy, though.
