We came in today, Tuesday evening. Excellent food and even better service. We had the Grilled cheese and a Hot dog and they were better than any we’ve had before. Pricing was reasonable portions were great and our server regularly checked on us and offered us the best service. We for sure will be coming back here. Great experience.

Love Velvet Creamery and their ice cream creations! Great quality and my friend’s Hot Fudge Brownie sundae was enough for two at about 10 bucks. My ice cream soda was full of ice cream at about 8 bucks. Really great. Like an old fashioned soda! Like when I used to be a soda jerk in the 70’s. Also will try their roasted butternut salad next. Lots of old fashioned cafe foods and burgers. Extremely friendly waitresses; make you feel welcome! Going back many times I am sure!

The Velvet Grill in Lodi is one of those places that instantly makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy good company, and take your time with a great meal. The waiters are genuinely friendly, attentive, and welcoming not rushed or scripted, but truly kind and personable, which makes the entire experience even better. You can tell they care about the people they’re serving. And the food… absolutely delicious! Every bite was full of flavor and clearly made with care. From start to finish, everything felt thoughtfully prepared and satisfying. The Velvet Grill isn’t just a place to eat it’s a place to enjoy yourself, feel comfortable, and leave happy. It’s definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to and happily recommend to anyone visiting Lodi.
