I would say average across the board. We went on a Sunday late afternoon and they ran out of all beef related pho, only chicken was available. Sodas were also sold out. I ordered the chicken pho, shrimp tempura as an app and husband ordered the banh mi. The shrimp tempura were overcooked, almost burnt, so the tempura was super, super hard, very crunchy. The pho noodles were a little over cooked. Waited a while for food, server didn't refill drinks. They charge a 3% credit card fee, but will not inform you in advance and there are no signs. A little annoyed by the lack of communication, would have paid cash if I knew. Based on the whole experience, items not in stock and taste, I rate this restaurant a strong 3 (stars).

Really disappointing experience. The chicken was extremely over-fried and so dry it was basically inedible. You can see how tough and dried out the meat was — it wasn’t fresh or properly cooked at all. I let the staff know, and instead of fixing the issue or offering a replacement, they only gave a 10% discount — which came out to just $1.80. That doesn’t really make up for serving food that couldn’t be eaten. For the price, I expected much better quality and service. Unfortunately, this felt like they didn’t really care about customer satisfaction. I won’t be coming back.

I ordered pho with cooked beef, as I’ve done many times before, expecting it to be ready to eat upon pickup. However, this time the beef was served raw, raw beef leaked blood into the noodles which was unexpected and disappointing. The order was prepared with raw beef, which was not disclosed at the time of ordering. Writing this complaint regarding a food safety issue at VinBun Restaurant. Customers ordering takeout should not be expected to cook their own food. If there has been a change in preparation practices, it was not communicated during the order. Customers should never be served food in a condition that could pose health hazards, particularly without clear warning or consent. This poses a serious health risk, especially for customers who may not be aware that the dish contains raw meat or who assume the food is ready to eat. When I contacted the restaurant to address the issue, the owner abruptly ended the call without offering any resolution. I believe this practice violates food safety standards and fails to inform customers of potential risks. Proper food handling and customer communication protocols are not being followed.
