Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This place used to be so great. I heard of it starting in San Ramon right near where I used to live due to a family whose child had allergies and they wanted to make a place that was allergy friendly and health conscious. When this place first came out, it was amazing— the bowls were tasty, the portion sizes were great, the care and intention was in every bowl made. Since franchising it out, this place has gone downhill especially with the Brentwood location. For a long time now, they will charge .75cents - $1.25 for toppings where they give you like eight pieces of fruit, or the smallest handful of granola or honey or any topping that they deem “expensive”. They’ve watered their bowls, smoothies and juices down with the “cheap” toppings, leaving you paying top dollar for low quality. Their bowls are cheaply and poorly made, never properly or thoroughly blended (ie massive chunks that take up most of the bowl that they’re charging you for), sloppily put together and missing toppings. It’s very sad to watch this place fall fast but it’s been years now that things are like this. I think it’s time for a new place to open. Photo description: my recent order + missing a topping

Vitality Bowls has a lot of options of acai bowls and smoothie. When I don’t know where to go, I will never go wrong with this place. The medium size is huge, it can feed 2 people. The staff was nice, patient and she helped my picky friend pick her bowl.
