Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I've been wanting to visit this place for awhile and we finally were able to come out and enjoy this place. When we first came in we were hit with a beautiful rustic interior. Very suitable for date night and the design really suits the restaurant as well. We were then sat and greeted by an amazing and kind server. Her name is Rhiannon. She had amazing recommendations and suggestions and made our night amazing. We got a couple of appetizers, we got the Goat cheese fondue(4/5), Brussels Spouts (5/5) and Crab fritters(2/5) the Crab fritters came out with 5 little balls and some sauce. they were a little fishy and for $16 it just wasn't the best and pretty pricy in my opinion. then for our entrees we got the Shrimp Rigatoni(5/5), and the French Onion Burger (4/5). We also got a side of mac and cheese and that was hands down the best mac and cheese we ever had. We also had 5 different cocktails which were all great and for a good price too!! We also got the Dude where are my car keys(i think) whiskey flight. All the drinks were amazing and for a fair price so this is a new favorite spot for us. And we finished off with their Whiskey cake with Honey Bourbon ice cream. I honestly hate cakes in America since they're usually very dry. This was the most delicious cake i've ever had in my life and it made sense to me why they named the restaurant after the cake. Overall we had an amazing experience and we will for sure be back and hope to be served by Rhiannon every time.

Visited to celebrate a birthday. The Chili was excellent, and the Grilled shrimp rigatone was the winner. Tasteful and the perfect proportion. We had the Whiskey Cake for dessert, a must-have. One side note: the background music was not overpowering. We could sit and have a great dinner conversation without being blasted out. So nice!

WOW! It is not easy to really impress us but today Whiskey Cake did just that! We just moved back to Texas a few days ago and decided to try something new. Starting with the greeting from the hostess to our amazing servers (Melissa and Victoria) we could not have asked for anything better. They gave wonderful recommendations that lead to the best meal we have had in years! The fried green tomatoes are fresh and full of flavor. The shrimp and grits were seasoned perfectly and the wilted greens and fresh tomatoes added the perfect burst of freshness. However, as good as everything else was it was the Whiskey Cake for dessert that stole the show! I rarely ever do dessert because I just don't have a sweet tooth but I will order this ever time we come. I can't even come up with the words to describe how amazing it was. It's one of those rare moments when you take a bite and immediately close your eyes and smile! We will probably be here weekly. Thank you for the wonderful welcome home!!!!
