Wow. Ordering a custom cake is a joke. Tried to call to order a customized cake for my daughter’s birthday, but they say we have to order it online. So we order online, and it says we can’t customize it that we have to call in after the purchase is made so they can apply the customization to the confirmed order. Cool. We jump through all the hoops for them to write on the cake. We’re good, right? The Amazon/Whole Foods order confirmation said it should be ready on the day of. But on the day of, it was never ready. Like a shipping tracker that shows the steps of the order, it looked like it hadn’t even been made. When we arrive at Whole Foods, we go to the bakery to get the cake. A lady says that custom cakes can’t be picked up here. We have to go to customer service. So we go to customer service. They explain that the cake is not here. It’s in the bakery. But they’ll go get it for us. She brings the cake back, and if you’ve been reading this far you probably know what’s coming next. No customization on the cake. At this point my wife and I are past the angry frustration to the laughing frustration, like, how much more complicated and convoluted can it get? Pure foolishness. In 2025, with the eCommerce functionality and backing of freaking Amazon, it’s mind boggling that I’m writing this review. At least we got the cake. That’s better than expected at this point.

I had never been to this store before and I really liked it! It has many special products and a huge variety of them; all of them are of very good quality! It has wide aisles full of delicious things, everything is very tidy and very clean! The staff is very friendly too!

I always enjoy Whole Foods. Every person that works there always has a smile on their face and is happy to answer any questions I might have. They are friendly and helpful. Never a bad experience in all the years I have shopped at any Whole Foods store. They set the bar high. They always have a large selection or variety for most anything I'm shopping for. Options are good! Even though the location I went to this time is undergoing a remodel in store at they have always handled that very Tastefully, and continued to provide access to all parts of the store in an easy to navigate manner.
