Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

My husband and I had such a good time! Service was great! I think I had my Diet Coke refilled like 4x and our server was friendly and helpful. The prices were fair and portion sizes were large. We both took home part of our meal! The bread was delicious. It was warm and paired so well with the oil! It came out almost as soon as we sat down. We got the loaded fries to start. It was a very generous portion and it was gone in a matter of minutes. My husband loved his house salad w/ blue cheese dressing & encrusted pork. Our 3 year old loved his leftovers! I’m very pregnant and would not normally get a cheeseburger from a nice restaurant but that’s what the baby wanted. I was skeptical and nervous and kept looking for cheeseburger reviews but couldn’t find any. It was SO GOOD! The burger is giant- I cut it and saved half, so I got two full meals. The sauce is heavenly and again, the fries are perfect. They have a flaky sea salt that is really tasty. We shared a red velvet cheesecake- I definitely recommend saving room for dessert! It was hard to pick but we figured the red velvet is the best of both worlds. The whipped cream is homemade and pairs perfectly!

Visited The Wild Olive on Friday, October 3, 2025 around 11 AM with my wife after seeing it on Google Maps. It looked like a small, farm-style brunch restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. We were seated right away and greeted by our waitress, who was friendly and attentive. The menu was small, but that’s not a bad thing — it seems to rotate daily with new specials, which keeps things interesting. I ordered the homemade smash burger with a side of mac and cheese, while my wife got the daily special — a chicken tender melt with sweet potato fries. The burger itself had one patty that was a bit on the burnt side, making it tough to eat at first. Once I removed the overcooked parts, though, it was flavorful and had a great homemade taste. The mac and cheese, however, wasn’t my favorite — it reminded me a lot of Velveeta-style mac with some bacon bits thrown in. Not bad, just not what I was expecting. My wife’s chicken tender melt was easily the winner of the meal — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and paired with crispy sweet potato fries that were delicious. We both agreed I picked the wrong dish! Overall, the experience was cozy and satisfying. Despite a few small misses, the food had a fresh, homemade feel, and I’d definitely return to try something new off their rotating menu. 9/10 — Would recommend and revisit.

Enjoyed another wonderful meal. Outside on the patio. When the weather cooperates, it's the best place in the house. Again.
