Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We stopped here while traveling through San Francisco to Oregon for brunch. Loved the atmosphere here, I think it was fairly new and I could tell that it was family owned which I loved. They have beer flights, which I recommend they have a lot of beer on tap and it was delicious. My hubby had a cider that was super good 👌 We ordered the kids pretzels with everything bagel seasoning which they loved. They came with a yummy spicy mustard which the kids gave a 1/10 but that was purely due to their taste buds, it was delectable. We ordered a cheese board. My favorite thing on the board was the lemon ricotta it was to die for. I ordered the Procuitto on focaccia bread with pesto and arugula and it was unbelievably good, best sandwich I have had in a while with chips. My daughter ordered the ceasar salad and this was the only meal that was honestly lacking anchovies. It had a good lemon flavor but needed something and the croutons were large and kind of stale tasting. The crisps from the charcuterie board would've been good on it too. We also ordered a strawberry white chocolate cookie. My husband was in love with these cookies 🍪

Wildflour @200 Airport Blvd, South San Francisco, CA 94080 The place is tucked into a nook of an apartment building, so you might not notice it at first. But once you pass by, the aroma of freshly baked bread is unmistakable. The space is clean, cozy, and surprisingly spacious, with plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate customers. I recommend coming for breakfast if you’re after their bread selection — everything is freshly baked and at its best early in the day. If you’re looking for a discount, try visiting before closing time, as they sometimes offer buy-one-take-one deals. The food is prepared with fresh ingredients, and the overall atmosphere inside is warm and inviting. There’s limited outdoor seating available, and pets are welcome too! Definitely worth a visit.

My partner and I have been coming to Wildflour multiple times a week since they opened, and we love it here! Darwin, the owner, is an absolute sweetheart who treats every guest with care and joy. The ambiance is delightful—I love the colorful mural, the open kitchen, and the rotating music—and the food is PHENOMENAL. We've ordered basically everything on the menu (which rotates periodically, and so it's always exciting to peruse), and there are no weak links. Particular high marks for the gather and basic charcuterie boards, the prosciutto and BLT sandwiches, the rotating pastries (I have eaten at least five passionfruit danishes in the last week alone), and the coffee, which is the tastiest AND most affordable in South City!
