Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

It’s crazy to me how hard it is to find a restaurant that has both good food and service - they’ve got it here! It was our first time coming in, we had a lot of questions and they were so kind and patient helping us, with smiles on their faces! The food was out very timely and when I took everything out I could see how they packaged it up so thoughtfully! I’m thinking, okay good on everything so far… but how’s the food?? Seriously, SOOOO delicious!! We got the sesame chicken, broccoli beef, and steamed dumplings - it SLAPPED! 😆 Excellent food, excellent service, price not much more than Panda Express, so it’s a no brainer for me - this is my Chinese restaurant spot now!!

WAY BETTER THAN YOUR “RUN OF THE MILL” Chinese restaurant. Not saying it’s perfect, but we enjoyed it way more than every other Chinese restaurant around here. The Szechuan chili dumplings are a must have. Not overly spicy, and packed with flavor. We liked the Chongqing chicken a lot, but did feel it could have been fried a bit longer, or fried a bit hotter (compared to the same dish elsewhere. The soup dumplings broke apart a bit easily which made it tough to actually enjoy the broth as it spilled out, but those that held together were delicious! The general’s chicken and hot-and-sour soup were just okay, in my opinion. The service was great and we will most certainly be back to enjoy more of the menu!!!

Wok Provisions has easily become my favorite restaurant! My husband and I have gone several times since they have opened and never gotten anything that was less than amazing. Their bao buns are to die for. I am absolutely addicted to the steamed chicken and cabbage bao. They are made fresh to order and are served with a delicious dipping sauce. They are HUGE! Easy to share for an appetizer but I always get them as my meal. We took our oldest son out last week for dinner and he raved about their sesame chicken. It was very flavorful and crispy. My husband has tried the Kung Pao and and general Tso's chicken and recently had the braised beef noodle soup and the beef was so juicy and tender! The lunch portions are great as well! The only downside is they don't have fountain beverages, but bottles or speciality drinks. We mainly drink water with dinner, but I really want to try the thai tea.
