Visiting from out of state. Staff was very welcoming and pleasant. Bar tender accommodating and helpful. Grilled octopus was good and a large portion. Pizza was very good, I took it to go. It traveled well. Would definitely visit again.

We had a terrific experience! The pizza was good, but the real star of the show was the absolutely terrific beer, brewed by its sister restaurant, Carlyle Brewing. Even though the restaurant was full, the service was exemplary. Will definitely be back!

Woodfire Pizza has a cozy atmosphere—small but not too cramped with a nice bar area that offers a wide variety of drinks. I didn’t try any this time, but several caught my eye for the future. We ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and the Garlic Rose with green olives and pepperoni. Both were good overall, though I personally didn’t care for the flavor of the cheese. That said, the crust and toppings were enjoyable, and I’d definitely come back to try more. One downside was the bathroom. One stall was out of order, and the other didn’t lock properly, which was a bit uncomfortable. Overall, though, the dining experience was enjoyable, and I’d recommend Woodfire Pizza for the food and atmosphere just hoping they touch up the restroom situation.
