Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This cute little cafe is a welcome place to grab a bite while visiting Philadelphia. Most of the items on the menu are just vegetarian. When I let the owner know I am vegan he immediately made recommendations and told me the changes he would make. I ended up having the sweet potato burrito. I have to admit it was messy! Once you take out the binding egg everything is just floating around the tortilla. But it was delicious. I ate every bite and most of the bits that dropped out of the tortilla! It was very filling so I was ready to get on the train satiated. If you visit Philadelphia I highly recommend. Especially if the weather is nice so you can dine outside.

Absolutely stellar. Im visiting from out of town, stumbled across this place, and have been back every day since. The coffee blew me away, the owner/staff are awesome, and the food is crazy delicious and unique. Cannot recommend enough

A yellow-painted fever dream serving up the kind of genius that questions my tongue experiences. The Samosa Burrito is a mandatory, weirdly wonderful experience, a flavor fugitive that tastes like a spice-filled wedding between a samosa and a burrito. Follow that with the Garden Hash, which is less food and more a joyous vegetable uprising. Seriously, eat here if you like your food to be an adventure you sexy beast.
