We celebrated our anniversary dinner here & got great service from Roberto. There was a small wait to be seated. The young men in charge of seating got confronted by another server about seating arrangements and servers. She was being rude to them for not following an order to the seating instead of helping. Which almost made us change our mind about dining here. The food was quickly served. We had steaks and they were slightly over seasoned to our liking. The tortilla soup has good flavor and plenty of chicken and veggies. The New York cheesecake stole the night. It was delicious and everything you expect from a new york style cheesecake.

Gina was awesome! We arrived on a Monday at 6:15pm and saw tons of folks waiting in their vehicles and the vestibule of the restaurant was packed - 30 min wait for two. But when I tired to call and make a reservation earlier, no one answered. Pro tip: the bar is first come first served and so we sat right away. The good: the chicken cordon bleu was everything you want in the dish - super crispy chicken with great melty cheese and a nice slice of ham. The side salad was meh (made hours before and sat in a too cold fridge), and the baked penne was also just ok. Not bad, just not worth writing home about. Gina steered me toward soup and half salad after I told her I was a light eater. She was spot on. The menu does not even tell you that I have salad option is available. But I got the warm brussels sprout salad, which was really just a side of brussels sprouts with Parmesan cheese and cranberries. And a cup of the chicken tortilla soup. Neither were anything to write home about, but they definitely hit the spot and were filling. Skip the mixed drink menu and just order wine or beer. The mixed drinks are very run-of-the-mill with very run-of-the-mill liquor. They do have local beers, but none of their wines were local.

After traveling all day, I asked the hotel staff about the best upscale restaurant in the area. YB was recommended. I was seated quickly and my drinks came out promptly. My cocktail was absolutely delightful. When my food arrived, the disappointment was palpable. The 14 ounce carne asada is closer to 6 - 8 ounces of thin, chewy, usda select beef. I pointed out to my server that the menu claims its 14 ounces and, after she spoke to someone, she claimed all meats were weighed. Photos clearly show otherwise. For $35 dollars a plate, I hoped for competence.
