Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Came here looking at the good reviews. Ordered some food and coffee. Was able to find a table immediately. The cappuccino was good. Was told they use Joshua Tree Coffee to make the coffee drinks. I got the breakfast sandwich on jalapeño bagel. It was more than filling and yummy. Wife got the avocado toast with a well done egg, which came out over easy. But that was a minor issue. The chicken pesto sandwich was also yummy. Overall everything tasted good. P.S. They also gave the kids some activity to keep them busy, which was a plus.

We were disappointed with the food. I mean the platting is presentable and looks delicious but the taste and flavor is a whole different story. The croissant and bagel were cold and hard. The chilaquiles were cold by the time we got them. The salsa was very sour and the chicken seemed undercooked and very gummy. We couldn’t really finish the food. Service was good and they were quick enough to replace one of the plates. They brought the replacement with what seemed to be a chopped up frozen sausage over the chilaquiles instead of the gummy undercooked chicken. The coffee was very good and that we enjoyed.

Very disappointed with my experience. I had been wanting to check this place out , and i managed to go today. Service was horrible, Bella the cashier was on her wrist watch as i attempted to order and ask questions about items on the menu no eye contact just her on her watch untill she charged me. Once i placed my order i was going to make my way to the restroom as she calls me and says “ you have to wait outside someone will call you by your name and give you your food” . I went ahead and stepped outside, 25 minutes later and still nothing, i go inside and ask for my food, its been waiting on the counter. Now i open it and my sandwich is cold, and made incorrectly i have a pork allergy, i related this to Bella and subsituted for sausage. Now i can not eat my sanwhich. They were not even busy. I do not understand this lack of service. Very upset with what should have been a nice brunch. Im left with no sandwhich and bad service.
