Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Good fresh selection of food. Waiters explain the process of making a bowl well. Really simple and you can fill your plate as much as you want. Just know it's one time that you get to go up. Then they cook it on the hibachi grill behind the counter.

Do not eat here! I ordered the classic stir fry chicken through DoorDash. At first, the food looked fresh, but while eating, I discovered a cooked maggot in the dish. Absolutely unacceptable and extremely disgusting. I’ve been a loyal customer and Yummy Bowl used to be one of my go-to spots, but after this experience, I can’t bring myself to return.

Overall I liked the food. Everything else was ok. They need to be more careful of people with allergies. They ask but didn't react. I don't eat pork, my nephew is allergic to egg. We told our server about my nephew allergy. We wrote it on the card given to us. When we went to the back and selected what we wanted in our bowl. I didn't put sausage in my bowl. My nephew told the cook about his egg allergy. Our server brings our bowl. I found sausage in mine. I pulled it out. In the bottom of my nephew bowl he had egg in it. I spoke to a lady working there, and our server. I told them that me not eating pork is a chose, but my nephew is allergic. They made it seem as if the cooks doesn't speak that good enough English. My nephew says how is that when the cards are printed in English. Luckily my nephew didn't have an allergic reaction.
