Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Best Chinese food in town, no contest. I think it’s run by a husband and wife (which somehow makes it even better), and they absolutely nail it every time. The food is always hot, fresh, and super flavorful. The chicken lo mein and yum yum chicken are our go-to orders and never disappoint. If you go for lunch you get soup with it too. Plus, the classic 80s vibe inside is such a bonus — it’s calm, cozy, and feels like stepping into a little time capsule in the best way, so I hope they never update it!

I called for take-out. I’d never eaten nor heard anyone speak of the restaurant. When picking up, the bill was quite a bit higher than expected…, and then some. The food turned out to be excellent, all of it. Worth every penny. Best Chinese I’ve ever had. Quality, flavor, portion size etc. House special lo mein, fried shrimp, egg rolls, hot mustard, sweet & sour, fried rice, all of it exceptional.
